Thursday, 1st October : Revd Nadene Snyman

Art, Integration and Life as an Immigrant

Nadene is the URC minister of the Tees and Swale Pastorate which includes Keld Chapel.  Nadene has fallen in love with the Yorkshire Dales and loves the weekly drive through the changing scenes of the Dales.  She also loves art, forces herself to go to the gym weekly, loves adventures and travel.

Nadene’s Sabbatical explored the themes of what it means to integrate into a new culture (as her country of origin is South Africa).

She will explore what it means to be a child of God who lives in a new land and the challenges that brings in a politically hostile environment and how to journey to find peace through humour, art and story.

Nadene looks forward to being with you!
