The first newsletter of the North East Christian Churches Healing Ministry Network has gone out to contacts in churches throughout the region just in time for Christmas 2009.
The newsletter is full of information about events planned over the coming year, including regular healing services in a number of churches, Healing on the Streets, and an Ecumenical Healing Network Day with Ged Downey in June.
Our synod moderator Rowena Francis, who serves as chaplin to the Network, explained "The information sheet will be distributed electronically to the churches' healing advisors and to other groups such as healing centres and chaplains. The hope is that those receiving it will be able to share the information in their own mailings and newsletters, so that all of us can have a better picture of how much God is doing in this area."
Please note that the date of the HOTS event in Newcastle has been changed to May 8th
