Andrew Atkinson

Trust Officer

The Trust Officer works full time, giving legal and administrative support to the Synod and the provincial trust corporation, and oversees the keeping of proper legal and financial records. He also liaises with the Synod's professional advisors and deals with property and investment transactions. He is able to give some advice on charity law and accounting to the Synod and local churches.

Andrew was born in Newcastle and has attended St Columba's, North Shields since childhood, becoming an elder in 2000. His interests include: walking, cycling, reading, drawing, and solving crossword puzzles. Andrew has worked at the Synod Office since 1995, following a degree in law from the University of Nottingham and a diploma in legal practice from the University of Northumbria at Newcastle.
