Messy Church is one of the highlights of our church at Grindon, in Sunderland.
Once a month worship takes a different form - with adults and children working together to share the gospel stories and their own experiences of God at work in our lives in all sorts of ways.

Messy Church in January was of course a time for telling the Epiphany storie, and remembering the wise men who travelled far to see the infant Jesus. And then there was the problem of how to make a convincing camel out of the cardboard boxes that just happened to be around.

There wasn't committee involved in the design - but still, as Sunderland minister Peter Jordan said, "You've never seen a camel like it!
